City Centre Beat Team – Weekly Round‑Up
It’s been another busy and productive week for the team, as we’ve been out keeping the city centre safe and supporting our community. Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to:
Patrolling Town Hall Square – Tackling ASB and seizing alcohol from those causing issues in the area.
Drug Warrants Executed – Conducted warrants at multiple addresses, seizing a large quantity of drugs and designer watches.
Bike Marking Event – Hosted a successful session in the city centre to help residents protect their cycles and prevent theft.
High‑Visibility Patrols – Increased our presence in key shopping locations to deter and prevent theft during the busy period.
Tackling Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG) – Carried out night‑time economy operations to identify and deal with offenders involved in harassment.
